Lamont sighed tiredly and rubbed his eyes before glancing at his watch. It was 4:15 AM. The thought of the warm comfort of his bed was starting to seem tempting to him. It would be just a quick drive home through the waking city. His cat would come to greet him at the door, purring at his feet as he'd kick off his shoes and make his way into the darkness of his bedroom… He raised his hand to touch the bruise on his cheek. It was still pretty sore under his touch but at least it had stopped bleeding. "Bastard," he said quietly, feeling irritated as he turned to look at Luce. The taller man had passed out on the grimy, old couch next to h
