Well, I heard a glorious rumor that Static may be the next teen titan. I'm a big Static Shock fangirl so I was most pleased. I sincerely doubt its true but hope springs eternal. So I downloaded a picture of Robin for style reference and found two pictures of Static, one comic and one cartoon, and watched an episode of Static Shock to do this. It took awhile and I was a little ditsy during the process. I forgot Static's skin tone. Anyway I am pretty happy with this one. I love the coloring and the drawing isn't half bad. That and Static needs more fanart. Gear has more than Static I think and Gear isn't cannon. One complaint is he looks too young. My defence, its the Teen Titans' style and Virgil is fourteen. I know its a weak defence but its worth a shot. So here he be, my tribute to my favorite Milestone superhero.

As for the rumor, part of me hopes it is true, as I'd love to see more of Static. However, another part of me is hesitant, bacuase he wouldn't be the Static I've come to know and love ;_;
And true-dat about there not being enough fanart of Static. It's his show for cryin' out loud, not Gear's! (though I still love Richie/Gear)
