This is a picture of little Ivan and Adam from Static Shock. Ivan raised Adam from the time after their dad died. The only redeming valuity of Ebon is his dedication to his family. I wanted to draw this one after watching "Grave of the Fireflies" for the billionth time and hearing Setsuko demanding to be carried.
The scene is on a street in a poor neighborhood. Ivan is carrying a sleeping Adam around because it isn't safe to sleep in one place. Ivan is around 7 and Adam 4. Ivan is forced to grow up alittle too fast so he can care for his brother. Adobe 3.1, pencil, pen, MS Paint |

I was trying to make the way Ivan carried Adam show that they are close. Also show that Ivan is the eyes and ears, protector. Also I purposely made Ivan in more shadow than Adam. He saw more and kept Adam from as much as he could. I'm a character , alright.
